At Zion Fellowship we do not believe in a “junior Holy Spirit” and consider ministering to the children to

be of the utmost importance. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for

the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14).

Children are always welcome at any of our services however there is no childcare at the 8:30am service

and children will have to sit with their families.

We provide Kids Church at the 10 am service.

Families worship together and sing praises to the Lord at the beginning of 10 am service. After the praise

portion of service is done kids will be dismissed to go to their individual rooms. The nursery (for ages 0-

2) is open during the entire service, including the praise portion, so that you may drop your babies off at

any time.

Our kids rooms are divided by the following age groups:

Nursery (0-2)

2-3 year olds

4-5 year olds

6-9 year olds

We hold a “Tweens” group on the 1 st and 3 rd Sundays of the month for kids ages 10-13.

We hold a “Teens” group on the 2 nd and 4 th Sundays of the month for kids ages 13-17.

These groups meet after praise and worship in the ZF Youth Room.

You can sign your children in prior to 10am in the lobby at the Kids’ Check-in Desk. A member of the Kids

Team will be there to help sign you in and show you the kids rooms. We promptly gather in the

sanctuary right at 10am to give all honor to our King, so there may be no volunteer at the desk if you

arrive late. No worries! Just sign your child in and wait for the children’s dismissal and a Kids Ministry

servant will help you find the proper kids room at that time.

We truly value children and families at Zion Fellowship and understand that some families may have

different needs. For that reason, children are always welcome to stay with their parents in the sanctuary

rather than attend Kids Church. We also have provided a Family Viewing Room where you can

comfortably view service live on the tv away from the crowd with your little ones. There is a Nursing

Mother’s Room for those looking for a comfortable place to care for their babies anytime during service.

If you have a child with different needs, you can speak with a Kids’ Ministry leader, and we will do our

best to accommodate. Most Sundays we are able to provide one on one care for those who need it, but

it is not always a guarantee. If you have a child with different needs and would like more information

you are welcome to contact our Children with Special Needs Coordinator, Katie Scorsone.
