Pearls of the Kingdom 3/20/24

As we look ahead to Palm Sunday and Good Friday, consider these scriptures with me today, taking the time to remember Jesus.

Mans problem, sin:

Rom 3:10 “As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.”

Rom 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Rom 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death”

Gods’ solution to man’s sin, His son Jesus:

Rom 3:25a “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin.”

Rom 5:6 “You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.”

Rom 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Rom 5:10 “For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

Rom 6:23b “but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The sinners’ response for salvation:

Rom 10:9-13 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Salvations result:

Rom 3:25b “People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.”

Rom 4:7-8 "Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight.Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of sin."

Rom 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.”

Rom 5:11 “So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”

If you know Jesus as your savior and friend take a moment to give thanks, remember what He did for you, taking your place, paying your debt, dying your death, cleared your record of sin, that you may live!

If this Jesus is new to you, know that He loves you, He gave His life for you! He wants to be your savior and friend. Call out to God today with a simple prayer,

God, I know that I am a sinner and that the wages of my sin is death. I believe that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, as payment for my punishment. I declare that Jesus is my Lord and profess my faith for salvation through Jesus death and resurrection. Thank you for your grace, forgiveness, peace, and gift of eternal life. Thank you, I am now your friend. Amen!"

If you said yes to Jesus, let us know, you are about to start the greatest journey of your new life with Jesus.
